Galtur is a popular winter sports resort, providing the ski lovers with around forty kilometers of well prepared slopes each year. Galtür is a family-friendly ski resorts - most of its ski pistes are with easy and medium difficulty level. However, still professional skiers and snowboarders will find challenging slopes around, as well as good snow pockets off-piste. Galtur’s ski area includes ten lifts and mountain railways, among which the Alpkogel 8-seater gondola. Winter sports fans can also practice some night skiing on a floodlit runs at Galtur.
