MIEDERS - HOTELS & TOURIST INFORMATION

The Austrian ski resort of Mieders is situated at 982 meters elevation and has ~1600 residents. This little and traditional Tirolean resort lies at the beginning of Stubai valley and is also close to Serles Mount. One can fully enjoy the beautiful nature and experience the great panoramic views of Stubaital and the Wipp. All of this is also available on cross-country ski gliding. The ski slopes have been designed and prepared with the snowboarders and free riders in mind, so they are also able to enjoy a great winter holiday. There are a couple of very good hotels, as well as private apartments, ski chalets and other accommodation in Mieders.

Mieders Skiing Holidays

The Tyrolean winter resort of Mieders has direct access to seven kilometers of downhill pistes, which are served by three lifts. The most difficult slope is the Ochsenschvss. All the seven kilometers of skiable terrain is served by twenty snow cannons for artificial snow base and the three lifts have capacity of 1200 riders per hour. Serlesbahnen Mieders skiing area is really family-friendly and due to the fact that Innsbruck airport is only on 1 hour drive, short family vacations and weekend holidays are popular. Mieders provides with very good snow sports for intermediate skiers and snowboarders. The snowboarding park has a boarder cross and a parallel slalom.

The nearest airports to Mieders are these in Innsbruck (~1 hour away) and Munich (~2 hours away).
By train one can get to the Innsbruck railway station and from where continue by bus or taxi to the village of Mieders.
By car via A12 - Inntal autobahn - on along A13 Brenner autobahn, take the exit Stubaital to Mieders. Or toll-free from Innsbruck Sud along the old B182 Brenner road – Schonberg - Mieders.
