SERFAUS - HOTELS & TOURIST INFORMATION

The sunny plateau Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis is one of the most picturesque hiking regions in Tyrol and is especially attractive for family holidays. The Austrian resort of Serfaus is situated at 1427 meters altitude, has approximately 1000 residents, is also very popular among the skiers and snowboarders during the winter season. Other activities of interest in Serfaus include Nordic walking, biking, rafting, canyoning, horse-back riding etc. Serfaus has good hotels on offer for their visitors, as well as other inexpensive accommodation such as private apartment rentals, ski chalets, etc.

Serfaus Skiing Holidays

Serfaus is a famous ski resort in Tirol and has direct access to one hundred and sixty kilometers of well-prepared skiing terrain, with eighty-two individual runs, accessed by fifty-three lifts.
With ski slopes above 2500 meters elevation, great snow sports are assured throughout the season. 115 kilometers of the ski pistes are served with artificial snow base made by a number of snow cannons. The 53 lifts of the resort have capacity to uplift 60000 riders per hour. Serfaus provides with good skiing conditions, especially for the intermediates and there are also 2 fun parks with rails, jumps, kick boxes and different obstacles for the snowboarders and freeriders.

Serfaus Transportation

The nearest airport is Innsbruck airport (100 km) which is only on around hour drive from Serfaus. Other nearby airports are these in Zurich (~250 km) and Munich (~250 km). By train one can get to Landeck railway junction and continue by bus or taxi to the resorts of Serfaus, Ladis and Fiss.
